If I have 2 PCs, both of which are side by side. The PC (a) is connected to Streamyx while the PC (b) is not connected at all. So, what I will be doing is
1. Install the a new LAN card in my PC (a).So, in total there would be 2 LAN cards
2. Then, I will connect each PC with a crossover cable.
3. I will set the same settings for PC (b). I will open view network connections folder in PC (b)>right click on Local Area Connections>right click on TCP/IP protocols and set auto for all.
4. and I can use my PC (b) for the internet too.
So, are the steps taken correct?

It's not that simple as you've put it, but yeah, the steps are correct in that order.
Not really sure if auto assign will work, heh. Might have to do everything manually.

For computer (a), you'll need to enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) for the streamyx connection.

Hi again!
I tried to have internet sharing for PC (b) but It seemed to be not working.
The IP address for both are different

You can't have the same IP address or else it will conflict. As long as they are in the same subnet, then it is fine. For example, the A computer will get 192.168.1.1 and B will get 192.168.1.2

The IP address for both is different.
When I installed a new network card in PC (a), I can see a new Local Area Connection in my "View Network Connection". So, there are 2 network cards in PC (a) now. Then, I connect a crossover cable from PC(a) to PC(b).
I think I might have done something wrong in my Internet Connection Sharing. However, I will try again tommorrow and let you know whether it works.
Thanks
