HEy,guys!! Is there any software to lock the broadband network access other than the password protection for accessing the broadband service offered by the ISP??

- actually, you no need any software to lock your broadband connection
- let me share some information here
- actually most of the ISP only allow, 1 login session per username
- if your username is login more then 1 time concurrently , your ISP will block it
- try to check with your ISP.

yes the MAC address(unique) of your NIC/modem is noted by the ISP.
that's why no one from any other place can use your net connection even if they know your password & user name.

yes you can change - there's an option - actually it's not change it's 'masking'
but very unlikely that someone knows MAC address of NIC of ur PC if it's behind a router/dsl modem

First of all, I would like to share extra information here
MAC address, is to control you access to the router/switch/modem
Broadband access – as long as you have Username and password you can login to anywhere which you have the source (phone line) and it MUST be ADSL signal enable
For the security purpose, most of the ISP already designs to block username which do Authentication more than 1 time concurrently at ISP server
Means your username are save” no need any software “
