OpenVPN guide
Hi all,
I am trying to make the AlwaysVPN posted by Raymond the other day work. So far I have successfully installed it. It creates a new network card and connects to a remote server and informs me about my "new" IP. The thing is that IE and Firefox continue to use the old connection with the old IP. I tried bridging the two connections but the same thing happens or I lose all connectivity. Should I create a new connection or something?
Is there a guide to follow or is my PC in need of drastic measures (format!)?
Please help if you know
Thanks

Are you connected via a USB modem or wireless connection? Do you also need to enter a proxy in your browser in order to surf the web?

I am connected via ethernet to a Linksys WAG200G and I don't use a proxy except the OpenDNS servers which I have set in the router

Hmm that's weird, it should work. I ran out of ideas on where to check.
You could head to AlwaysVPN forum to ask for help from the developer of this software.
