Confused Which is better first person shooter-Deus Ex(part 1) or Deus Ex2?

I am an ardent fan of strategy based games and deus ex,was one of my firsts. It has a gripping storyline with good graphical presentation of its times(2000).Another fact about the game is that it is unpredictable and does deliver any concrete ending but 3 different conclusions. The sequel serves its purpose the graphics quality is oblivious better but the story line becomes much predictable and it lacks the staunch rawness of the first part.If anyone has playedf both the games i would like them to vote for thier fav. parts and share their experience of DEUS EX series.

Definitely DEUS EX is the better of the two. Used to own the CD copy, had to rebuy it via Steam since I lost it. But I remember why I love it now.

2 was very disappointing... very very much so.

    3 isn't too bad though.

What do you mean "3 isn't too bad though"? I think it's pretty good.

As in, it's better then 2, but I still prefer the first one. Boss fighting I still don't like personally.

FYI there is a Max Payne game coming out in the next year or so

@luffy: Despite the fact that Deus Ex: HR was a excellent showing it did not compare to the thrill of the original Deus Ex. I have read reviews that stated 'it was what the matrix was supposed to be' Considering what the matrix magnificent it is hard to top a game with such commendable praise.

Actually Jay, I'm playing it now only. I haven't played it before. I'm trying to finish the two games before the third part comes out.

"do the job" Funky? Reminds me of Mario Puzo's book, Godfather..
