@Schlange: My test system has 512 Mb RAM and it was usable except during scanning. The scans are moderately fast. In my opinion, any company can ask for whatever RAM. But having 2 Gb is always on the safer side because it will help your multitasking. Other AVs may use max 50Mb RAM on average and ArcaVir uses 250Mb, will that double the RAM requirement? Anyway lets hope that v2012 brings some positive sides in the system impact.
And about ArcaVir, you can read the first paragraph of the review.
@Neo: Its usability is equivalent to KIS 2011. For some independent labs test consult VB100 and PC Security Lab. You may find discrepancies in the results. VB100 says it fails only due to a few FPs while PCSL says its detection is low. I think its upto you to see how it fares.
