Although the giveaway version is v5 while v6 has been released, it's worth keeping as its conversion quality, supported input/output formats, presets are much better than a/b/c/d converters.

Thanks for the info, but I think Format Factory does all those things and it is a freeware too. Or may be Any Video convertor.

Format factory is nice but Xilisoft has more output options and better presets. Output quality and speed of conversion are somewhat comparable.
