i have done the phone verification but made the mistake of doing it in the early hours yesterday and woke everyone up

Do you need a cell phone or land line phone for verification.

Both cell phone or landline is fine.
If cell phone, you can either opt for SMS or voice.
As for landline, only voice is supported.
You will receive a 4 digit code from the call/SMS and you'll have to enter it on the website.

Raymond, I am not the sharpest pencil in the box, I enter the area code and phone # to verify and no luck. Country code is United States.

I've been using since early this morning the software after raymond's review and giveaway in the blog section.
So far it has blocked the view of several web-sites I used to look at.
For example, I can't check anymore web-site such as: www.ghacks.net!

Were my web-habits so dangerous, or the rules that Heimdal uses are simply really strong? "Detection of banking trojans", as Raymond said in the article, is a reliable method?

It doesn't seem there is a way to add exceptions for web-site I trust. But after all why should I trust a web-site... if start putting exceptions is maybe better not to have this kind of protection...
