    Thanks for the info. Is it computer specific? Will the pen drive be protected if we use it another pc? At present I am using the steps given here by running command prompt as administrator.

    I think that's the same procedure maintained by USB Defender. In this vaccination way your pen drive may not be infected. But I think a better companion of your PC will be No Auorun.
