P.S. How about it's internet slowdown impact? I'm currently searching for one that has minimal
Minimal and its application control module is tighter, but manageable. It's even lighter than the new RSS client. One of the best free robust firewall for me! New users should visit the product tour page for some technical stuff.*

@ceyfer,
Is it better than PC tools firewall?
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

Its man drawback of Private Firewall is its interface. Before adding firewall feature it used to be a classic HIPS called Dynamic Security agent. If I am not wrong Private Firewall was a shareware a year ago after that it became free. Webroot Firewall uses an older version of Private Firewall Engine.
Its default settings have set for normal users. If you wish to get more pop ups for outgoing traffics and system changes you have to change some settings.
It also updates most frequently but the bad thing is that there is no automatic update feature yet to upgrade easily. You have to download and install over the existing version.
I have heard that Private Firewall has some weakness in its HIPS and that's because it was never at the top of Matousec test. But IMO it is sufficient for most users as it is efficient at killing malwares at first hand through its AE feature and other HIPS features.
Comodo still is the best in HIPS. Online Armour free is also very good. PC Tools is very user friendly and clean but its HIPS is also not very good. It is based on a very good basic Look n Stop firewall engine and its HIPS feature has reportedly build to pass Matousec tests. I prefer Private Firewall over PC Tools as I always have faced some problems with PC Tools Products.
Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.

Both firewalls are good, it is a matter of preference. I'm not a Matousec fan.

Thanks Sujay.
I may be trying it out soon. I recently used Comodo & was satisfied.
