    Oh no... this is a sad news for me: PC tool firewall plus is the only third party firewall which never gave me problems on my Windows 7 x64..

    Just use it, even for a year! The only issue here is the product upgrade support. Anyhow, see the old Sygate Personal Firewall is still viable option for some older folks Year 2005 and it was a classic story*.
