@Kayan, what is wrong with kaspersky? They should have anticipate the traffic to their server. Maybe is time they upgrade their servers to keep up with rivals.
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

@KaYaN: Wait for some time. They are synchronizing their update servers. I am also having similar problem downloading via Kaspersky Updater.
    Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86 + KIS 2011 (11.0.2.556 b.a.c.d) + Sandboxie Paid (3.54) + Deep Freeze Standard (7.20.020.3398)

Updated to patch (b). Update took so long. Kaspersky should give a new installer which contains this patch in its product updates and trial download section of its main website.

Why Kaspersky says its own file as suspicious?

@sm1: The rating does not affect performance/working of avp.exe. It is placed under Trusted group.
The rating is calculated based on certain presets (designed after a lot of malware research) by AVZ/HIPS component of KIS.
To become a good person, you need to think as a good person, while to catch bad guys, you need to learn their tactics. To catch malware, you need to think like malware writer. KIS does the same. KIS mimic some functions/hooks to catch bad people creations and due to this, AVZ gives it danger index of 50. AVZ calculate danger rating for every executable including its own process. Do not worry. KIS recognizes its own processes + others processes/executables based on Digital signatures, whitelist, and KSN, while separating bad files from good ones. It does it jobs silently but perfectly. In default configuration, it is almost silent especially if you take part in KSN too.
