    @leofelix
But Immunet free isn't a full fledged antivirus at all
the site says that it is a companion antivirus for providing additional layer of real time protection, based on Community reaction
    http://www.immunet.com/free/features/index.html
    Companion Antivirus
means that Immunet is compatible with existing antivirus solutions.
Immunet adds an extra, lightweight layer of protection for greater peace of mind.
Since traditional antivirus solutions detect on average only 50% of online threats,
most users are underprotected, which is why every PC can benefit from Immunet's essential layer of security.
Collective Immunity™ technology leverages the shared intelligence on threats gathered within the Immunet Cloud.
Immunet's virus detection technology continuously improves with each new user who installs Immunet Protect.
When Immunet detects a threat on one user's PC, that threat is blocked from harming all users in the Immunet Community simultaneously,
giving all Immunet users shared immunity against computer viruses.
which is exactly what Threatfire does too

    @ Funkysourav:

here you will find a review and a test of mine (Immunet Protect Plus v 2.0.15 tested - the giveaway is over)

a behavior blocker is used for different purposes: to prevent 0 days/new malware from being installed mainly.

Mamutu 3.0 is an excellent behavior blocker as well. if you own a EMSISOFT anti-malware full coupon code or license you might use EMSISOFT Antimalware full instead which include Mamutu too.

Buddy now that i have Emsisoft AntiMalware license,
I am thinking whether it will clash with My AVIRA PSS i've already installed
do i need to turn off the "File Guard" and "Surf Protection" in EAM to avoid clash with Avira?
Does this EAM license include Mamutu too?
Since EAM already has behavior blocker, can i uninstall Threatfire now?

    @Hellnoire
Winpatrol Free was a lil bit confusing for me(So many Tabs!)
i am a noob so i couldn't figure how to configure it

I rated it as a goodware in virustotal community. Do rate if you are concerned about it.

Have a look at Immunet forum
it seems that BitDefender flags as malware files which are not detected by Immunet.
I'm starting to think that Immunet is using an old BitDefender engine
I submitted the setup file to to Emsisoft marking it as false positive
and waited for their review of the same
just now i received a mail from Emsisoft confirming it is a "False Positive"

    ***** false-positive *****

This file is a so called false-positive according to our analysis.
That means this file was detected in wrong.

Please do not delete this file! The next signature update will fix
the detection and the scanner should not alert this file anymore.

Call me a Paranoid but I suspect that the Setup.exe really contains a Whitelisted Rootkit!
i mean it is not unheard of software companies to put Whitelisted Rootkits in their softwares

Norton and McAfee co-operate with the FBI, but no one else does to my knowledge. So I somehow doubt it's a rootkit...

Dude. Chill. It's just that there's Ask toolbar bundled with the Immunet setup file....and for those who know, Ask toolbar is known for being a being an adware itself.

Adware describes usually pieces of Software which are included or bundled with programs as plugins to show ads. But besides showing harmless ads, they may collect user relevant information with or without asking the user. Most adwares send the collected user information to a central server to maximize the advertising effect. Some of them are using cookies to trace the visited websites of the user.
Paranoia isn't healthy for the mind so may I kindly suggest that you get that out as quickly as possible? It's one thing to be security conscious but paranoid - nope, please don't.

it is not a rootkiit and adware.rotator is not ask toolbar adware which is usually detected with a different name

http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_147311.htm, adware.rotator has been discovered in 2008, while ask toolbar is a privacy risk and has been labelled as adware since 2005.

    More: http://www.threatexpert.com/threats/adware-rotator.html

Actually Immunet protect free displays banners as well which are not related with ask company

However I believe it is a false positive
