Thumbs up Automatic Virus Eradication & Removal Tool (AVERT) v 2.1

Guys, it seems the developer has launched version 2.1.:

    Change log:

    v2.1
    -Minor bug fixes
-Fixed an issue where Vba32 Thorough scans was running when Minimal scans were selected and vice versa
-Added "Home" button that will take you to the AVERT Software Homepage
-Added prompt to the AVERT Registry Tool to give a confirmation that the import was successful or that it failed
-Fixed bug where AVERT identified Vba32 Blended and Minimal scans as AvirAntivir Blended and Minimal scans
-Added the ability for AVERT to utilize supported installed scanners
-Added first supported installed scanner, AVG, AVERT's 9th scanner. AVERT can now utilize AVG during the scanning process if it is installed.
-Added AVG and Vba32 to license agreement
-Fixed reporting feature to reflect downloaded and installed scanners more clearly
-Fixed a minor bug that cause Vba32 Minimal scans to be checked when selecting "Complete Scans" instead of Thorough
-Added help button for Avira scanner in the Install Tools window
BTW, here we can find a clarify answer with info about AVERT, given by the developer:

(...) As for the scanners, most of them are some of the best scanners you can get, Asquared, ClamWin, Trend Mico, Panda, Sophos, and Avira are all well known and very good.

But, that's besides the point. No one scanner is perfect. Even just 3 or 4 of these scanners, not to mention all 8, running together to much better than one. And it's all automatic! If you chose to not use AVERT and use, say 4, other scanners, you'd have hope it even installs and if it does, wait for it to update, then run the scanner, uninstall and repeat 3 more times. Plus, you never no when each scanner will finish. With AVERT, once you click, "Run Scans", just walk away.

With v2.1, which I just released, I added support for scanners that are installed on your machine. At the moment, only AVG is available, but more are coming. The main point for AVERT, is to be portable, so I'm limited to what scanners I can use because of the portability factor.

And finally, about the internet issue part, I understand his concern completely. But, there are two things about that. First, AVERT has built in tools, and more are coming, that help resolve internet issues. So if malware has blocked your internet, AVERT could possibly fix it automatically. But, I do understand the need to be able to download the signature files independently so that they can be added to a flash drive and then ported over to the infected machine and I'm working on that.

    Wow!!!
    Great piece of software
    Thanks Paf for the info

Is this a cloud based scanner like Hitman?(which i suspect it isn't)
because a scanner with 7 scan engines but only 3MB size?
or is this just the core file which will have to download Virus Definitions and command line scan engines?

Most importantly is this a stable release of this great software?

    UPDATE
okay i found my answers here
seems like a great piece of software but needs a little fine tuning(Read: No stable release yet)
