    Coranti Multi-Engine Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware v1.2.3

Hi everyone, we're a relative new player on the market. Using our QuadShield and SmoothScan technology we provide four engines to protect you (F-prot, Bitdefender, Norman and Lavasoft). We would love it if you would give us a try, you can find us at:
    http://www.coranti.com

    Changelog of our v1.2.3 release:

    1. Major QuadShield™ scan engine update: BitDefender, F-Prot and Lavasoft engines updated to very latest version. Increased performance and malware detection!
Note: when updating to Coranti 1.2.3, older versions of Coranti will be uninstalled and a new full virus definition update is required after the update. Subsequent virus definition updates will be small incremental updates as before.
    2. Performance boost of on-access scanner: file access operations are now 2 to 5 times faster depending on the system configuration.
    3. Performance boost of real-time file operations: new handlers helps to avoid superfluous scanning and overall system performance has been improved, especially under Windows Vista and Windows 7.
    4. Bugfix: removable media are only scanned when media is inserted
    5. Bugfix: scheduler now handles conflicting tasks correctly. Related tasks (e.g. “Scan My Computer”, “Scan My Documents”, etc.) can only be started after the running task has been completed.
    6. Bugfix: license information is refreshed after activation without the need to exit and open the application.
    7. Bugfix: occasional system hangs on shutdown after working with network files has been resolved.
    8. Bugfix: all right-click scan tasks under Windows Explorer shell now start correctly.

Pricing starts at USD 49.99 1 PC/ 1 Year and discounts apply for multi-seat versions

    Hello Coranti and welcome aboard.
    Thank you for the update.
I have only added some details more to your post I hope you do not mind

Many of us are already aware of your new security software, we talked about it recently, some of us are members of Wilderssecurity and CalendarOfUpdates and other security related forums as well.

And if you have a look at a sticky thread a Raymond cc forum Star tested your Coranti antivirus some weeks ago

    Hi Coranti,

I sent a reply to your PM and will post here as well so all has the same information.

It will be nice to see if any has tested this and how well it works (other than the one i saw done by Sujay on his sticky) and see how the comparisons goo..

So, I went to the VirusBulletin site that was refered to me in the PM saying how this site shows that Coranti 2010 has a good rating. Well, the link sends me to a 2009 comparatives. I went and registered there to be able to look at the most recent ones. I found their Comparatives and they have a chart that shows all the tests they did for the year and shows whether the AV's they tested Passed, Failed, or werent tested.. So far this year, Coranti Multicore was tested 3 times However, this product failed to pass 2 out of the 3 times. You can see the Chart here at VBulletin VB100 results 2010 and hopefully you can view.. if it wont let you, registration is free to see the basic stuff. to get full leng reports for each product you need a subscription

I clicked on Coranti and it shows each 3 tests and Why.. here is the reasons given:

    1 Success / 2 Failure / 69 No Entry

    August 2010 - Coranti Multicore 2011

    Product name: Coranti Multicore
    More: June 2010 in full
Review: Coranti Multicore on Windows Server 2008 R2

I asked Coranti team to try and submit their product to Av-Comparatives and AV-Tests websites to ask/have them test their product out and put them in their comparisons as these are very nice websites to check when comparing the AV's and having more than just 1 site doing the comparison IMHO would be nice..

I hope that Coranti does well. I might install it to test it out on one of my VM's and see how it goes. Has anyone done this so far and can put their own personal experience on this product in here as well?

    Hope this helps,

    Zug
