Slow to update, lots of FPs, and lots of new threats that are missed. Along with a gawdly ugly interface... if I were you, I'd skip it.

I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

Tested against some known TDSS rootkits: ClamWin didn't detect the most of them.

I also got a "wonderful" BSOD caused by an Alureon/TDSS rootkit sample (which I installed on purpose) as expected.
I could get rid of them thanks to NovirusThanks Antirootkit 1.1 (do note: Avira, HitMan Pro and MalwareBytes' Antimalware detected all rootkit samples as well)

    See bad/resolved issue update.

    Friday, 19 November 2010
This release updates ClamAV scanning engine and fixes a few important issues:

    * Fixed an issue with false positive detection
-Reports started pouring in earlier today on the official forums, with users complaining that, following scheduled scans, the program moved up to 25,000 clean files to the quarantine.
-(0.96.4) was released to resolve the false positive detection and an utility for restoring the quarantined files was also made available.
