ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 and ESET Smart Security 5 Release Candidate available

We are pleased to announce the availability of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 and ESET Smart Security 5 Release Candidate.

The new version mainly fixes issues reported during the beta testing:

+ details about user license are displayed
+ small UI improvements

Fix: Issues with Windows Live Mail 2011
Fix: Multiple notifications displayed after scan
Fix: SSL not working with Firefox and Opera after a computer restart
Fix: problem creating scan logs after scanning removable media
Fix: wrong display of HIPS pop-up windows in interactive mode
Fix: Other minor fixes

Thanks KaYaN for update. Im watch cloosely ESET, this is my home based company and they are absolutely No.1 here in Slovakia. If you say antivirus, is for many people connection antivirus=ESET. So, what I should to say, hope for great start new version 5, but still is not, what i like...parental control, not needed there, I would be much more pushing cloud. Cloud detection is future, in my opinion, not other way in next comming years with so huge number of zero-day malware.

It is pretty good, esp when it is in Interactive ( Advanced ) mode, you can also customize the hips rules according to your needs.
