port forward.help!
im using a netgear router.and I needed to port forward but it said the server is conflicting with some other things.
I need to port forward for my utorrent.
thx for any help

If you go to http://portforward.com/
And select your router, and then click utorrent.
It will tell you exactly how to do it.

Srry for not explaining that clear.
I mean when I do a port forward from now on.I get an error message saying that network is conflicting with other service.Oh i just realised that I posted on the wrong section.It should be in network section.Srry

Make sure that the port is forwarded to the right IP address first. Then make sure nothing else on your network is already using that port. If there is no help there, change the port to a different one.
If that wont work I would make sure that the outgoing encryption is enabled in uTorrent. Some ISP's try to block p2p activity. If that doesn't work I would try switching the DNS in the router to Open DNS servers. If it works it is the ISP, if not it is something behind your primary gateway.

hmmm..Thx for the tip but i read from the netgear forum and its their problem.
So I onlky got i port forward.
