FTP client cannot connect to server under Windows 7

I have a proprietry ultrs-secure ftp client that had worked without problems since Windows 98, even in vista. However, everything seems to work in Windows 7 except it cannot connect to my remote server. It sends a heavily encrypted, highly compressed file with a file extension of "BOX", and can be up to several terrabytes in size. All other functions work normally under W 7.

Can you try using FileZilla or will that be a no-no?
