    What is the best server as in most web hosts have a windows and linux hosting plans is there any difference in quality? answers appreciated

    If it is web server that you are asking, then the best would be Apache running on Unix or linux.

    I've used Windows server last time but when I started using Linux server, I never want to go back to Windows server.
