    Nvidia Forceware Drivers For vista

I am using windows Vista SP1. I have Nvidia Geforce 7300GT graphic card. the problem I am facing since last 2 months that when ever I download the updated driver from Nvidia starting from 181.20WHQL driver after installation when I restart my pc I notice Nvidia Control panel is not working also under the device manager I saw a yellow exclimation mark under my graphic card name I double click it to see its properties when a new windows open there is an error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43)". at that time I thought may be the driver is corrupted but after few days Nvidia released a new version 181.22 I download it & install but same error since now Nvidia released three more updated drivers but after when I install it same problem I check it on windows XP download all these drivers (181.20, 181.22, 182.05, 182.06) there is no problem the driver is working perfectly alright so I believe the problem is of windows vista not the drivers. please can any one help me out how to resolve this issue I will be thankfull.

You might be able to resolve this problem by doing a BIOS update. May I know the model of the motherboard you're using so I can help you check.

    -Intel D865GBF Bios Update-

Download the one appropriate, and install. Then try to install the driver for your Nvidia.

Next question: Is your Vista machine 32 bit, or 64 bit? Since going to 64 bit, I've noticed that some hardware mfgs (& software also) do not have drivers which will support the 64 bit platform.

At the NVIDIA site, the options include:

    ***Vista 32 bit
    ***Vista 64 bit

    ***GeForce 7 series
    ***GeForce 7 series (notebook)

Are you certain that you got the proper version for your machine? There are subtle differences between the different version, and they are not interchangeable.
