With KIS installed, you don't need Windows Defender. Tests show that it misses half of the common spywares in a PC. Its Anti-Spyware engine is just isn't good enough.
KIS will suffice, as already said by Joel.

Excuse me, as this is my territory of expertise, I will be specific and inform that Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware & any Norton/Symantec product to this day are NOT compatible with each other. This being from Webroot V.5 & up including any 2009 Norton/Symantec product on ward.

He is looking for antispyware as windows defender is, so when we reffer to spysweeper we mean "spysweeper" and not "spysweepr/av", anyone with half a brain knows not to use 2 antivirus at once, spysweeper only does not have compatibility issues with either KIS nore NIS.

KIS doesn't play fair with a lot of apps. I had it, and then re-installed it with all Internet modules disabled, and it still balked at some of the apps I had installed. I finally uninstalled KIS completely, and haven't had a single problem since...Good riddense !
BTW, did any of you know that Kaspersky's free recovery tool does NOT have a Vista 64bit version?
