windows vista reboot after shutdown
i just bought my cpu and install vista business version. But whenever i wan to shutdown, it will restart itself. i tried to uninstall software and restore to the last point but dun help. How should i go about?

First thing I would try would be to reboot the system from the Vista installation disc and procede through until the options page is present. I would then carryout a repair. None of your settings will be lost during this operation. It just repairs any damaged or missing files.

ya it happend to me too. what button did u press the one in the taskbar or the one in the list box which clearly states turn off or shut down. and another thing did u ever turn off vista when it was installing updates

I will let it install the updates before i turn off the pc and confirm i pressed the 1 in the list box with the shutdown and restart.
Maybe i try out the repair from CD 1st.

Windows vista Windows updater is your problem. The solution is simple, just go change the update settings making it ask before restarting.

Previously my setting is install updates automatically. So which one should i change?
