    Updating Java

I get the error 25099 during instalation of the new java update, Have tried all the work arounds suggested on the java site and get the same error. Have used Javra to get rid of all previous versions also no versions show up in revo or in add and remove programs which makes me think that i have gotten rid of any traces that were left anyone else had the same problem?

That particular error code indicates a failure unZIPping the Java core files. Try downloading a fresh copy, and unzip again (with a different unzipper if needed).

solved it by changing the uninstall folder, something must have been corrupted in the default one somehow
