    Help! Validate Issue! Can't UPDATE Windows Media 11?

    Omg...

    My brother, our family Computer Brain.... prob did not download a genuine xp software...

    and now... when I clicked on "UPDATE WINDOWS MEDIA 11"...

    I have lost ability to get into my Windows Media.. and it gives me the following prompt:

    "To get Windows Media Player 11, you must validate your xp..."...etc..

    I'm not trying to do anything "wrong".. but WLD DIE if I don't get my Windows MEdia Player back..

    CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

    solution is go to the computer store and buy a legit copy of windows

    just need some direction...

    got no $ for anything right now...

    single mom of 3, laid off since xmas....

    just want my windows media player back...

    my brother is wonderful... & GAVE ME A COMPUTER...

    what am I to do or say?

    when I get rich...

    Why do you need WMP11? Can you use another player? You can use GOM player instead.

    VLC is one of the best media player, you also can use VLC Media Player.
