Microsoft Office Programs-not installed for current user

I'm using Microsoft Office XP Professional, version 10. My C drive was low on space, so, this morning, I deleted a bunch of log files. All my research showed that this was fine, but when I restarted my PC afterwards and tried to launch Word, an installation thing starter after the program opened. I do not have the CD, so I couldn't install anything, but it told me it wasn't installed for the current user. I'm the admin, and I was on my own account.

I'm not sure what to do, or if this is related to the log files. If someone knows a log file that might effect this if deleted, please tell me the name. I tried looking for the PRO.msi, which supposedly would help me reinstall, but I have no idea where on my PC it could be, and when I looked where the official site said to download that, it didn't quite work.

I'm a writer, so I really need Word. Can anyone help?

Using that, I got the following problem message:

Error 1311. Source file not found: C:/OFFICE1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

It's on a Retry/Cancel thing right now. I'm doing a search, but I don't think that file is on my PC, unless you know where it might be?D :

I think you'll need the Office XP cd to fix this.
    Office1.cab file is 214MB...

I've PM you the link to download Office XP if you don't have the disc.

In the meantime, does anyone have any other ideas? Maybe about any log files connected to the program?

You just need copy file MSO.DLL from another Office XP to replace the old one in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office10
    Good Luck!
