    Open Office vs MS Office

Open Office, a free office suite suitable for your everyday job and MS Office, some consider it bloated and the second golden goose of MS. It is quite expensive to purchase one.

    So which do you prefer?

The free productivity suite or the expensive suite?

If its about money, then I would definelty choose Open Office.

But for the layout and features, Office 2007.

Why don't you compare Microsoft Office with Kingsoft Office Suite instead ?

I tried Open Office once, but I didn't quite like it as much as Microsoft Office.

For me my personal preference is still MS Office: "Since Office 97 days and,the industry standard,& still the undisputed leader because of its market share..."

But I'm open to alternatives as the other, Open Office and Corel Home Office ( both proficient on the said programs )

I do prefer Microsoft office rather than open office. Open office isn't as good a Microsoft office in my option.

I prefer MS Office myself. Personally I'm happy to spend a little to get the ease of use and quality. And now with 2007's service pack #2, we get PDF and ODF support.
