Is Online Armor (Pro) overated?

two problems that keep cropping up, even after fixing or resolving them. Asks for permission for every little thing, over and over. Even when you give it permission at some point down the road it will ask again for the same program.
Next problem, today ran IOrbit Sec. 360, left the room, came back and the 'permission box' on Online Armor had popped up and replicated itself probably about 30 times or more. When I tried to allow it, it would continue to replicate for each box I allowed. This has happened before and had to uninstall and reinstall. I've uninstalled it for good this time and looking for something else that will work on it's own and doesn't need babysitting.

At the same time, Comodo and PC Tools are apparently good.
