Adobe CS4 problem

I bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 from a retailer (Office Max) and went to install and at first the serial code went with a green check and the program ran fine after installing. Then after reopening the next day I got a "excuse the interuption but it seems that your serial is invalid" message.I called Adobe and they said the serial was "bogus" and asked where I bought it from. After telling them where and that I could not find the reciept they said that I should go to another authourized seller and buy one from them or purchase one over the phone! After looking and looking I could not find it. I have a friend that uses Cs4 on 1 computer and he gave me his key. Same thing- next day I got the darn message again. Now I am asking my fine friends on Raymonds Blog Has anyone heard of Adobe just mass rejecting serial keys? I provide them with a valid product sku and everything and still get rejected. Is there a fix possible? Does anyone have a reciept lying around? ..LOL Please help

If u bought from Office Max, was it through counter or Online?

In either case if U paid through card-u'll have the transaction shown online, using that u can get the duplicate receipt. Using the receipt get back to Adobe...

In worst case return that stuff back

I bought it at the retail store. No returns for opened software even with a reciept.
Also made a mistake- I paid with CASH- A no no in todays world!

Take it back to Office Max and demand a refund, even if they say they won't, explaining your problem, or demand a copy of your receipt, they should have a copy still, so you can deal with Adobe.

Failing that, I would think you'd win a lawsuit against Office Max for that!

A good reason not to buy a genuine software, but to use p1rated..

Kind of infected...but it depends how good the user is..
