Blank device manager-Win 7
Running Windows 7 x64 and seem to have lost the details in Device Manager.Went I open DM there is nothing there.Have looked on Google for ideas but none of them seem to work, cannot find anything that would help on Microsoft Help site.Dont really want to do a reinstall and have to reload all progs and updates.
Any help appreciated.Thanks

I think Win7 64 bit is still a bit buggy!! A lot of users had reported issues especially software ones...No idea how to fix that.
Screw Google! Ask me!

Two things to try, run SFC (System Files Checker):

Do a repair install:

Try SFC 1st, as that should do it, if not the repair install is the next choice. A Guy

H'mmm, I've been running Win7 64bit since the final release and it's been "rock solid" so far.

Thanks A Guy--just tried the first one and nothing showed.Have studied the second suggestion--think I need to print off the instructions for that first and get my head round them. Will report back when I've tried the repair.
