Sound driver problem for T43

Hello guys,

I tried to reformat my t43,but after the reformating I lost my audio driver,chipset i915.

Tried to instal 1ya210ww.exe without any luck.

Tried to instal WDM406 same,but during the an installation I got a message,that

the driver didn't pass Windows logo and the installation was stopped.



Do you have any ideas how can I restore the sound on T43?

Why not go to the creator of the laptop/desktop's site and download the drivers from there? Or if you built it yourself, you should still have the driver disks.

Or there's Unknown Devices, and you could google them though that program.

I download several Lenovo drivers ,but couyldn't install,
During the drivers installation I got messageon't pass a Windows logo,Cancell installation

Um... it might not be signed, so don't cancel the install, otherwise, you will keep your issue. And make sure it's EXACTLY for your brand of laptop, not just any Lenovo laptop.

Sometimes drives which do not pass the Windows Logo Test still work well with Windows. I had a USB modem driver in which the manual itself said that the driver did not pass the test but would work fine and it did. So create a system restore point and then instead of pressing cancel, select install anyway (you may have to select this multiple times).

Hope this helps. If something goes wrong restore your computer the restore point created earlier.
