Need reccomendation for good freeware file listing program

I am looking for your advice on a File Lister, I cant find one that can list all files in a folder. The ones I found do subfolders, but .zip and .rar are treated like plain files, the contents are not listed.

Does anyone know a good free filelister that can list the full content of a folder, including the files inside of zip and rar?

Inside RAR/Zip files? Uh... I don't think there is one, truth be told. None that I know of.

btw why is there a need to get listing of files inside of rar/zip? I'm asking as there could a workaround...

I need it to make comparative listings. Such as,
there are folders that have different placement of same files. In one folder, all files are in subfolders, in the other they are in subfolders but many also in .zip and .rar. I have to go through now and then and make very sure that they are all the same files. My file lister is good enough for just files, but the .zip and .rar are just listed as files themselves, the contents are not listed. There is a lister that is supposed to do it, but not the free version

There are other ways to do this, but there are so many files/folders/archives it is unweildy. With a file lister I just make the lists, put in alphabetcial order and load in winmerge.
