Cool Installing two different versions of MSN Messenger on a single computer

I'm having a problem that is really starting to bug me. Yet another form of control to be puked out of the offices of Microsoft...

I have a computer with two different user accounts set up. I an trying to install two DIFFERENT versions of MSN MESSENGER, one version on each account, but this however seems to be a "problem" for Microsoft. T_T

The installer, as we all probably know, doesn't ask you to choose an installation path and thus it will always override the previous version, (without asking you first too), regardless of which user account you are logged onto.

Does anyone have a solution to this? I'm already aware that this might not have a solution at all, but I am hoping you guys know a good trick for a person (not me) who isn't very experienced with computers (aka. Sandboxing isn't a possibility).

    Thank you!

Hmm... the only way I could think of is use one version as a portable version, but that breaks the EULA and your 'portable' version might have malware in it.

I'm not sure to be honest.. that is a puzzle.

In Google talk it is possible but in messenger not sure.
I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

One quick question, why do you want to install different versions of messenger? well you can say the features are probably overloaded but that one can be settled either by some manual settings or registry tweaks.

If that is, then you can try Polygamy feature which basically allows you to sign in with 2 or more different accounts on the same messenger. You can get it from here:

SomeOne is right but I wouldn't recommend using those add-ons when you can actually just use the registry trick mentioned here which should work fine.
