Thumbs up Run It: Small Utility to Open Any Program by Typing its Name in RUN Dialog Box

"Run It" is a very small and portable utility which allows you to add any program reference to Windows Registry so that you can launch it by just typing its name in RUN. For example, you have installed 3rd party software "Internet Download Manager" and its executable file name is "IDMan.exe". If you try to launch it by just typing "IDMan" in RUN, it'll give error that Windows cannot find the exe. But if you add its reference in Registry using "Run It", you can launch it by simply typing its name in RUN.

I am a huge fan of Launchy and chances are really good I'm going back to it, since KeyLaunch doesn't compare. (I decided to try it out and seriously... I feel like I'm missing a hand or something, it's THAT MUCH of my day-to-day life.)

Hi guys, don't get me wrong. I doubt if I used Launchy properly mainly after listening its praise so many times. Could you please tell what are the steps in launching a program say chrome with Launchy?
    I did this way.
    1. Press the hotkey combination to launch launchy.
    2. Type the programs part name.
    3. Select the appropriate program with up/down arrow and press enter.
Am I wrong? If not what is the problem in
    1. Press Win button, Start menu will open.
    2. Type part of programs name.
    3. Select the appropriate program with Up/Down arrow key and press enter.
I know we can't do this in XP, but in Vista or Win7 what is the need of installing a software when we already has this facility?

Yep, that's the thing... but considering I personally use it for quick math equations or browsing though directories... Run doesn't come close to what I've used Launchy for.
