File renamer software

Hi guys, I am having a problem. I have like 500 pdf files which I want to merge but no pdf merger software is able to do that because the files are named by strange/random characters like 00003___095730376f1068a460650e63ba1a1b45.pdf . But the files are in perfect order if I arrange them by name. So I am in need of a software which will quickly rename all the files to some valid name keeping the order intact. Can you suggest me any such software?

Sujay, I always use :Adolix Split & Merge PDF. Give it a try.

It allows specifying the file name for the merged PDF.

Ive tried these. I think renamer is the fastest, with the easiest options.

Rename It did my job. I didn't tried the rest. But strangely I again could not merge the PDF. AnyBizsoft tells that it cannot recognize the files. But I can open the files using PDF Xchange Viewer, Foxit reader etc. Adolix Split and Merge suggested by grr will not do the job as the free version has some limitations.... Any way out.

P.S: May be I am going off topic but this was my primary problem.
