IDM & google docs
He,
Today i thought to organize my downloads a little bit. Everything is spread around my computer and it drives me mad sometimes. I download using rapidshare, emule, torrentz, newsgroups and of-course the web-browser.. So now i created one dir, called DOWNLOADS. Divided into 5 other dirs : Chrome & IE,; Mipony (rapidshare, megaupload etc.);, emule;, utorrent and newsgroups.
My question. I started using Internet Download Manager today. IDM organizes your web-browser downloads into: Compressed, Documents, General, Music, Programs, Video. This seems to work fine on most websites. But when i download files from google docs, it doesnt recognize the link and starts downloading the file with the web-browser instead of IDM..
So the problem is that IDM does not recognize the download link in google docs or something. The extensions i tried to download are pdf, doc & rar. These extensions are by default in IDM put in to Documents (pdf & doc) and in Compressed (rar)
Does anyone know a solution?
I use:
- Windows 7 Ultimate
- Google Chrome 7.0.517.8 Beta
- Internet Download Manager 6.02 Build 2 Beta

you can download them by IDM only..
just go to IDM -- Options --- in the bottom " customize keys to prevent or force downloading with IDM --- check second option " use the following key to force downloading with IDM " --- check any key you want --- while downloading " or clicking any Doc " ... hold that key along with the link--- it will be downloaded by IDM only...

Or you can right click the link and then click "Download with IDM"
