Help me strengthen and diagnose my security status

Hi Guys

I have quite a few problems-----------------------------

this is my security setup at present:-

Avira Premium Security Suite

1)Disabled Firewall and Mailguard
2)Checked on "Normal Startup"
3)Under
"Scanner"------------------->"Scan"----------------------->"Heuristics"----------------> "High Detection Level"
"Scanner"------------------->"Scan"----------------------->"All Files"
"Guard"---------------------->"Use File extension List"

Malwarebytes Antimalware Free(on demand scanner)

Comodo Free Firewall
1)Disabled --->"Defense+"

Now about the problems

1) I want to enable "Secure Start", is it possible without reinstalling avira :huh:

2) When i started my computer today, The Windows 7"Action Centre" showed the warning "Turn on Antivir Desktop Now"------
(but the Antivir Control Centre screen showed its already on ?( , am i infected by a virus?)

3) If my security is inadequate suggest me any changes in my setup or other free security addons

P.s.
I run AviraPSS and MBAM Full system Scan twice everyday
Update the Definitions twice everyday without fail

Can i use Panda Cloud antivirus as a secondary on demand Malware and virus scanner?

You seem to have adequate security,and i think its too much to run the scans twice a day,I run them only once or twice a week.if you are too concerned you could read this and this article on safe browsing tips.As for security centre issue i too face that on my pc with emsisoft Anti-malware,its not an issue.

You sir, are overly paranoid. You need to relax. What you have there is more then enough to stop any virus or malware you might face... now use some common sense, learn about the threats, so you really are protected on all sides.

I wouldn't use 2 resident antivirus at the same time, they will inevitably conflict

@hellnoire: I can confirm that Panda Cloud Antivirus works very well even with my recent dual AV setup.

Guys i have a problem enabling "secure start" in Avira
i reinstalled the program from Control Panel, Checked on "Secure Start" and restarted but
still the log file created after a complete system scan says:-

which settings should i use to Use Panda Cloud Antivirus(obtained from a facebook giveaway by Panda)
with Avira Premium Security Suite?

I only want to use it as on demand scanner
realtime protection from Avira is enough for me

p.s.
my system is just about 26 days old,
it was clean and pristine
but after transferring data from my old Hard Disk, i suspect some malwares might have crept in

In despite of what Panda Cloud developers say (same for IMMUNET protect and PREVX), it is advisable to put one each other into their exclusion lists in order to avoid interactions, system slow down, and false positive detections.

Panda Cloud as like IMMUNET and PREVX (Prevx: only full paid version) self register themselves in Windows Security Center/Windows 7 Action Center hence if you are using both Panda Cloud and Avira ,for instance, Window Action Center will warn you about the "risks" you are running

@ Funkysourav: if you want a second opinion scanner, HitMan Pro 3.5.6 is the answer since it doesn't offer real time protection, or EMSISOFT antimalware in free mode

Hitman Pro is only usable for 30 days,(i am only looking at free options)
it is very fast and i must say, but it doesn't scan any more than some selective files in c drive
yes i too was thinking about Emsisoft antimalware in FREE mode, because of its advanced malware removal options and ikarus engine

i am reading Gizmo's Freeware's guide about safe browsing,
since the real "Ace of Protection" lies with my browsing habits
Installed WOT on Chrome
Will use LUA once i understand the concept's advantages and drawbacks fully
Tried to run Chrome on Sandboxie(but the bookmarks and history kept disappearing, so uninstalled it for now, have to read more about it)
Trying to use KEEPASS

p.s.
is there any way to know if "Secure Start" has been enabled in Avira or not?

@ Funysourav: HitMan Pro is usable for life unless you activate it in order to remove possible malware infected.
Just activate it only if malware has been found or buy it: it is really cheap
