    Windows Update reboots Virtual Machine

    Hi,
We have 5 virtual pcs in the office. They are regular pcs which PXE boot into virtual machines using Openthinclient. We have a GPO controlling WSUS to get our Windows Updates. The updates work fine (mostly) for the other non-virtual pcs but unfortunately, on 2 or 3 of the virtual machines, it has a habit of freezing and then rebooting the actual pcs which are being used to access the virtual machines (if that makes any sense). So a user is working away on the virtual machine (with access via a physical pc), when suddenly, their screen freezes and the pc reboots. When I check the virtual machine, it doesn't seem to have rebooted - it has continued on although the client has lost it's session. I have since had to stop and disable the Automatic Updates service on the problematic virtual machines (although the issue may still turn out to the be the physical machine) and this seems to resolve the issue. In the GPO, Windows Update has been told *not* to reboot automatically after a Windows Update.

    Can you advise?
    Many thanks,
    Justin.

Communication issue. Something is throwing your terminal sessions off.
    Check hardware, communications software.
    Good luck.
