Installing EST and getting "F-Secure found" message.
k. So, I had that FIS2011 installed from a giveaway and then got ahold of KIS2011.. well, kis was slowing down some and decided to go back to origional Eset+Comodo..
Well, atm I am trying to install Eset and it comes up saying F-Secure was detected.. i used Revo and uninstalled.. i DL'd their Uninstall tool from F-Secure and ran that,, ive done some searches and found some posts of some tips of some folders left after uninstalling f-secure and have deleted all of those.. i can not seem to locate where this leftover F-Secure supposedly is that ESET is dectecting..
Should i be ok to ignore the warning and just install??
Any know where else to look/What too look for? Possible left some traces in Drivers and Reg that I am not seeing? I looked through reg and there is no F-Secure there.. so atm I am stumped..
Appreciate any input
forgot to add... when isntalled the KIS2011, it mentioned nothing of F-Secure
so this is puzzling

I'm not an expert, but i think you have traces in registry.Try to use a registry editor like the one in TuneUp Utilities or Jv Power Tools, and do a search in whole registry with keywords F-Secure.Or you can try Jv Power Tools Uninstaller,as it shows you programs that aren't uninstalled in a proper way. This uninstaller helped me when ESET AV failed to uninstall from a friend's pc.

Hello
I got a similar problem about 2 years ago.
The funny thing is that I haven't installed F-secure but I had only used a free removal tool from F-Secure.
I had to look for all f-secure registry entries and to delete them in order to install ESET NOD32

Have you try AppRemover already?
The free AppRemover utility enables the thorough uninstallation of security applications like antivirus and antispyware from your computer. Remove computer stress. Simply, cleanly and effectively.
http://www.appremover.com/
Do not forget to try it with both scanning methods (Remove security application and Clean up a failed uninstall)

Try AppRemover as FunkY suggested and then do a registry clean with CCleaner. This might fix the issue. Anyways it's OK to ignore that message and continue installation in my opinion there are just a few leftover registry entries, nothing to worry about.

Thanks all,
Will test out this AppRemover real quick and see if i have the jv tools or other one mentioned already as well.. have some regediters that i think i forgot about as well so will test..
currently only using the free Revo so i cant use that Forced Uninstall whcih would allow me to search for messed up uninstalls like the AppRemover
i used every reg cleaner i have , CCleaner, Glary, WinUtilies etc after the uninstall, the F-Secure tool and what not.. i think the first time found one, but ive rebooted and still nothin
