Bar Code

Does anybody know for software, about Bar codes? Just to tipe in the Bar code, and to see who is the producer of that item. Maybe there is some web page for this? Thanks.

Week ago I bough brenden jeans, but yesterday I find out thet they are fake. I think the easyes way to check if they are genuine is with the bar code...

If the jeans are fake get your money back, most likely the bar code is tied to the store so they can keep a check on stock levels, mind you with a name like inmate im dubious to the question and where did you buy your jeans ?

I'm afraid I don't know any but even if I knew you won't be needing it since the barcodes can be manipulated easily.

I wish to return them back but I lost the invoice. It can be easy to manipulate with the bar code as Alboguy sad, but there must be a way for checking this thing. If a find out, I will notice you. Also please if you find something, writhe here.

Here is a very gooood page for mobil phones. You can find out if your mobile is counterfeit by adding the IMEI number. I detecks a Chinese brand also. So I know there must be somewhere a data base for bar codes.

With my daughters mobile phone you can check bar codes I know it will tell you how much the item costs but whether it gives you any other details I don't know.
It scans the bar code instead of you having to put the numbers in.

Can you please tell me what model is the mobile, and can you find out the price on every item (like in outfit store)?

Iphone and Androids have apps that allow you to do this. If you have a Android, go to the Android Market and do a search for QR scanners.. that should help you out.. with iphone.. maybe check itunes store for QR or maybe search on Barcode... hope that helps..

All I can tell you is it is an android phone and it does not tell you what is on every Barcode.
The odd one will come up blank.
Maybe if you know someone with such a phone they may let you try it.

Well.. i just got an android and the app I am using is called QuickMark.. it has the ability to use your camera and scan the UPC or hte other barcode type (you just flip a switch to go between the too so the program knows which you are scanning).. the nice thing is when you are using the camera, it auto detects it and then tells you what it is... i used it to can a code online to DL an app.. just pointed my camera at it and it found it just like that and went to the market and to the app itself .. i gotta test it on a barcode as the only thing i have here to test is a generic UPC that is invalid as it was just placed on the box to "look" legit :P

the other way the app can do it is if you take a pic and then you can use the app to go to your saved pictures and/or files and find them from them... the app is cool like it so far
