cannot uninstall microsoft office 2007
I´ve already tried unsucessfully by all means to unistall Microsoft Office 2007.
As I run the office unistall a message error comes up :
Setup error – The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.”
I´ve tried as well other ways to unisntall it :
- downloaded and ran MicrosoftFixit50154.msi unistall tool
- downloaded Remove office 2007 from (www.refusetosuffer.com) , it runs , gives messages , it seems something is going on , but office has not been removed at the end.
Every time I try to run word , excel , etc an error message comes up :
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system;
I ran microsoft office 2010 installation option to remove old office files and the setup was finalized due to an error.
Is there a way to overcome this problem??
THANKS

Hi Ron Wolpa !
In such situation I would try at first to install MS Office 2007 , and then to uninstall it...

I guess you haven't try reinstalling, restart and then uninstall.
If all fails, uninstall Microsoft Office 2007 using the manual method. It's a lot of work.

Not sure if ur problem is solved or not.
I ran into same problem with office-2010. The reason was the system language specified in regional settings in Control Panel.
