    Problem unlock sonysoft

    Salutations.Guys Gals.
    my first post/request here.

    I have this problem using SONYSOFT FOLDER LOCK
    http://sonysoft.110mb.com/Products/folderlock/folderlock.zip

    I jumped right in and now cannot unlock.

    icon shows checksum icon SFV supposed to be the SONYSOFT Icon

    I'm not asking for a hack.
    I know my password.

    give it a try yourself with an empty folder and try to unlock it.
    If proven success. advise me,kindly.


    Only need advice on how to unlock the file.

    Besides others having the same issue with SONYSOFT folderlock
    would ThankYou till Kingdom Come,Granted.

    Tried it on Windows 7 and didn't work.
    I tried protecting a folder called "New Folder" by right clicking on the folder and select Lock Folder.
    The folder name got renamed to "New folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
    I was able to open the folder by double clicking on it. Didn't prompt to enter password.

    This software is very old, last updated on 2006. Windows Vista is not even out yet at that time...
