    Windows Media Player

    Hi

i´ve uninstalled KIS 2011(end of license) and installed avast Internet Security; all ok.
But now when i click in the WMP nothing happens, it worked fine until KIS was uninstaled.
And with Tune Up 2010 i click to open Start Center and continues to load..... and never loads.
    Can anyone help with this?

    Thank You.

You did a system reboot after you uninstalled right?

Did KIS manage your firewall? Perhaps those programs might be blocked or need to be reset in firewall? I was trying to do some research on your problem, but seems not many people have ran into this. Also you installed avast, doesn't it have a sandbox feature are you getting any pop ups from it when trying to start the programs? (I could be entirely wrong here...)

You are right finidingmyzen Avast does have Sandbox feature but if you keep autosandbox mode auto dedice then it might not pop up. If you keep it to ask mode then it will pop up. I think Firewall is not the problem. @zemoura what about the other apps ??. If only this 2 is creating problem then you can easily reinstall this 2 .
I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

It´s only this 2 that are creating the problem; i´m going to follow Indranil tip, and reinstall .

Tune Up away, and Windows Media Player back, just after Tune up uninstalation
