Trouble opening Speccy

Can not use the Speccy starting from version 108 to the latest version of 111, stuck and can not be opened and then display a dialog box like this.

But old version of 107, running normally. Anyone can help, thanks..

Please run speccy in debugger mode http://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/troubleshooting-speccy/running-speccy-in-debug-mode

If it crashes please locate the log file created in your speccy directory (usually c:\program files\speccy) and use the attach file (found after pressing the reply button)

If you want to experiment to find the cause of the crashes run the debug-mode a number of times with these steps

1. uncheck everything
2. check the first item
3. run speccy
4. if no crash then
5. re-run debug
6. uncheck everything
7. check the next item
8. repeat until you discover the crash 5-8



the developers read every thread so it is very important for you to attach the log file

Funky.., try a few times already on the Run: "Speccy /debug" the results are still not running normally. Speccy has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Ok. Anyway when i look Piriform forum i found that you are really not the only one with that same problem. But look's like there is no fix for that yet and developers are working on it.

Hey Solin - FunkY is correct, this is being caused by a bug in the Speccy software. There is nothing you can do to fix it yourself.

Good news is, there are other very good similar freeware products around. Suggest you take a look at SIW (System Information for Windows), there is a portable version available which does not require any installation.

SIW is a good program and i use that one myself, the free version is very comprehensive.. and a good alternative to Speccy
