Post deleted. From A Guy's answer, it was obvious that I didn't understand what you were getting at.

I see you are getting similar suggestions at overclock.net. Just generally, most that overclock don't use these utilities as they are pretty much "press a button" overclocks. Most want to know what voltages and setting are being changed. If you are just using it for fan control, you can use something like [url=http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php]speedfan. A Guy

I must be missing something here also as AI Suilte comes with a Fan controller similar to speed fan called fan expert, A Guy is right in saying not to use AI suite unless it is simple overclocks Like i7 or what-ever cpu is set to crazy, as there is far more control in the BIOS.
I would suggest going to ASUS and downloading all firmware updates including the latest AI suite.

I'm with you on AI Suite Jay. For me, it seemed easier to use than speed fan, and it also has a lot of other nice features.

I apologize if my answer was unclear. I was referring to his post at overclockers.net, which suggested like Bear did, to reinstall. Then I was throwing my 2 cents in about using it to overclock. The two were not related. Bear, your reply was spot on, no need to remove your post. Sorry guys, A Guy
