Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34 and Firefox 5

i seem to see that Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34 has problems installing in FF5. just updated from FF4 and it has been 2 days now. FF says that it's missing a plug-in. when i click install i see that it's Adobe Flash Player. i install manually since i have a copy. it won't. i click the "Install Plug-in" and let it finish. it shows an error "Fail" and gives an option to install "Manually".

when I check in Google there is such a problem but seem to not see a solution.

    what can I do?

Yes, there are quite a few similar complaints on forums across the net Curleysue.

Try running the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller to get rid of any older versions. Run it several times over to make sure you have got rid of all older versions. Download and instructions HERE.

Then try the install again. If it still won't install properly then you might have to wait until a bug fix version is released. Or try a different browser.

    Cheers....Jim

Firefox 6 is out now and there are problems with it accepting Java.
But back to your problem.Make sure you are downloading Flash player for other Browsers and not downloading the I/E version.
If downloaded properly it should tell you in Add Remove and it will say Flash Player Plug in.Or for I/E it will say Active X.
Now I had the same problem about 2 months ago and although it said in Add remove that both versions were installed the I/E version did not work.
Not sure if this is what fixed it or not but I found out that my zoom level on the computer was set to 125% and I reduced it to 100% and after a reboot it started working again. So worth a try just to see if it works for you.

I am using it in Firefox 6 without any problems so you should be able to update okay
