norman malware updates

I use norman malware and you have to update it before it scans for virus by the time I need to use it again. there version is not clear on site till download it. so never can tell if need update till to late.

anyone else not like this feature.? Or send to them as tip to let run old version.

or anyone know if this is worth the trouble to use.
