Problem with Vista Task Scheduler Engine

In my Vista PC I am getting an endless popup saying Task Scheduler Engine has stopped working. Screen shot as shown below

How to get rid of it?

This is probably due to third party software.
What you can do is boot in to Safe Mode, and see if you still experience the Task Scheduler crashing.

Agreed, you can perform a clean boot to see if it is a 3rd party program interfering. See this thread:
