EASEUS Partition Master Pro v9 Linux cd and something else :)

just had this EASEUS Partition Master Pro v9 and I am having difficulty using the Linux CD. it seems to go on like forever. i remember the previous version 8 and i too was like that...very loooooooong as if it was having trouble booting to the gui.

in windows it's okay and i come to rely on it really. it's just this Linux cd.

    anyone experiencing this?

    and for the something else,

is there an Acronis app that rebuilds MBR? i see that EASEUS PMPro v9 has this capability. i am using Paragon Backup and Restore 10 Suite Twitter edition in this pc. the bf was asking me so i asked yo guys

Hi curlysue. I was having trouble running the newer versions of Linux live cd's on my old PC, but when I upgraded my CD/RW to a new DVD/RW it made a big difference in boot times. Also, you could try reburning a new Linux CD at a slower burn rate and see if that might help. I have never used Acronis so I can't comment on it.

    Hi curlysue,

I found this web site with step by step instructions on repairing the MBR on a Windows 7 machine. This is the only way I have ever done it and I know it works.
