SSL certificate errors after installing VMware Workstation

Hi guys.

I've just installed a trial of Workstation so that I can test the DP of Windows 8. However, I've noticed strange things with FF and SSL certificates ever since.

I've noticed that when visiting random websites, Firefox brings up a dialog stating that the certificate for that particular domain is only valid for VMware. I've unfortunately been unable to get the exact error; it doesn't re-appear when I visit the site again.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It seems pretty strange that the self-signed VMware certificate is making FF bring up these errors.
