Windows XP Sp3 cannot mount some logical disks.
In my computer (windows xp sp3) there are 4 partitions: three primaries and the last "Extended".
The "Extended Partition" contains four logical disks.
Yesterday evening I thought I didn't need any more one of these logical disks; therofore, just to experiment, I went to "My Computer", "Manage", "Storage", "Disk Management".
I could see then my fourth extended partition with the 4 logical disks into it.
Well... I clicked on the logical disk i wanted to delete with the right button and then, in the pop-up window, I clicked delete.
And the damage was done; all the extended partition disappeared.
I know... I didn't behave in the proper way.
By using "Paragon Partition Manager 11 Personal Special Edition" I was able in restoring two of the NTFS logical disks I needed (2 out of four, as I previously said; I don't need the other two logical disks). Even if I can see now the Extended Partition in Paragon (and also in the windows utility I used to do the damage at the beginning), when windows xp boots, it does not mount the two ntfs logical disks I've recovered.
I guess there is something else I need to do in order to fully recover the use of the Extended Partition.
And, of course, I am not so good in that! [ Actually, I'm giving you the proof in how much I am bad in dealing with computers...

I am asking help to you, forum users.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers!
PS: The "problem" is that I have plenty of time in this period, therefore I am trying to experiment with my computers....

... and so nobody here can suggest me something?
Well... I have so far two ideas. I can type fixmbr in the recovery console of windows xp; or I can click "Rebuild MBR" in Easeus Partition Master.
But I am a litthe scared, so I would prefer to wait some other hours and see if some of you has better ideas.
I have also used "diskpart"; the logical disk into the extended partition can be seen also from that environment. If I type "list volume" I can see the two NTFS logical disks in object. The only missed parameter is the unity letter. I really don't know what to do... but I am sure it is not so difficult.
And - by googling - I couldn't find so much. There is nothing to just see the partition table that is mounted when Windows is booting. Or maybe I'm bad in looking for. I hope in some help. In the meantime, I will keep looking for some partition editor in the web.
Cheers!

Problem solved. Logical disks had labels... but the letters were missing. Once added the letters everything was correctly mounted. Good night...
